The XVII century building is located at the Back of Sé surch, in a pre-pombalina Lisbon district, very traditional and ancient. The apartment street leads to a square where a white church and small cafeterias mark what is known by the Alfama charms. Alfama still is a popular district, with strong neighbour relationships, small restaurants (“tascas”) popular folklore; such as fado nights and the annual “Marchas Populares”, happening in June. At the left of the square is the famous Clube de Fado, a spot to look at.The flat location is also in the proximity of Baixa and right next to the Castelo District. You can walk both to Castelo district, passing by the Sé church, or sat by Santa Luzia terraza and enjoy the view by the river. Easily you also reach at a walking distance, Rossio or Restauradores Squares and Chiado.
